Picking your photographer is more than just looking at pretty photos or matching your style to the work. Every Photoshoot Session is an EXPERIENCE, and the memories made at the session are just as important as the art itself.

HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS WORK?
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A "LIFESTYLE" SESSION AND "BOUDOIR" SESSION?

A lifestyle session is an outdoor session or on location session (Not in Black Gem Studio) that includes Couples, Seniors, Maternity or Family sessions. For my Boudoir Sessions, the process is a little different as they are done in my studio and include use of the client closet and props located in the studio. Lifestyle session packages include digital images and use of an online watermarked proofing gallery to select the final images on your own time. Boudoir Sessions include an in person reveal on the same day as the session and images and products are separate from the Boudoir session fee.

WHAT DO FINAL EDITS ENTAIL?

The Proofing Gallery or In-Person Reveal are "edited" images but they are not fully retouched. This means that they have my editing style applied to them but after the final images are selected, I will apply final retouching edits. These final edits include removing distracting objects, removing blemishes, smoothing skin, eye brightening, background blurring and any requested edits from the client.

CAN I ORDER MORE DIGITAL IMAGES THAN THE PACKAGE INCLUDES?

|
Yes! During the selecting process you may select as many images as you would like. Additional images are priced at $60/each and discounted in bulk. I also offer physical products such as Folio Boxes and Luxury Leather Bound Albums. The final online gallery also has access to order individual prints from a professional third party printer.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I started shooting friends and family in 2014! I took my first clients in 2015 and have been a full-time photographer since 2019. I started with Family and Wedding photography but quickly fell in love with Boudoir photography in 2019. I have always wanted to have a job where I could care for people, listen to them and support/ help them in a way, especially women. Combining my passion for art and helping women, Boudoir has become my main passion. I'm also a HUGE lover of love and all things passion, so Couples and Wedding Photography has always been immensely important and energizing for me. I love creating a fun experience and using prompts to take the pressure off of the subjects being photographed. Having fun helps everyone look their best naturally and also makes my job not work! I LOVE what I do!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/ RESCHEDULING POLICY?

It's always unfortunate when something comes up last minute for a session! If it can be planned ahead and I am given notice 14 days prior to the session, there is no rescheduling fee. If it is within 14 days of the session, there is a $100 rescheduling fee. If it is within 7 days of the session, there is a $200 rescheduling fee. If you need to reschedule within 72 hours of the session, it is a loss of retainer fee, and a new retainer fee will need to be paid to reschedule. I understand things come up or happen outside of our control, so if it is your first time rescheduling on me within that 72-hour window, we will honor the 7-day rescheduling fee.
Sometimes being late happens as well! If you are late to your session, you will have the remaining scheduled time for the shoot. For example, If the boudoir session is 1 hour and you are 15 minutes late, the session is now 45 min. If you do not contact me at all ahead of time and are more than 30 minutes late, unfortunately the session is forfeited. |
