What your shoot will look like in my studio:
I understand how booking a boudoir session can be incredibly intimidating! You're committing to being partially naked and vulnerable in front of a total stranger! (Unless you worked with me before, in which case hi again, I love you and thank you for coming back!!!! I can't wait to make magic with you again!) I want to ease some of your fears and nerves in this! I'm 100% confident you will have fun with me in this. You DO NOT need to be a model or have any idea about posing to do this!
I will guide you through everything (beginning with providing a Welcome Guide of expectations and tips the day you book so you can start preparing) It can be scary but I will hold your hand the entire way and make sure you have a positive and fun experience! My clients choose me because this session is more than just an hour and a half session. This is a life changing experience and a healing process that helps build confidence! I tailor the experience to you and what you need to show that you are beautiful, as you are, in this moment NOW.
The Welcome Guide (received after booking) also includes wardrobe tips and styling points. I am also here to answer any questions and specifically help you with every step of the day. On the day of the shoot, you will show up to the studio with your outfit pieces (or take a look through the client closet) and I'll help with everything from styling, posing, prop handling and show you the images as we take them to ensure you're in love with what you're capturing.

Boudoir by Black Gem = beautiful photos + a healing side effect!
Boudoir is commonly done as an AMAZING gift for a partner. Imagine the look on their face when they receive a little black leather album filled with saucy photos of their favorite person. They think you're beautiful when you're lounging around in sweats, just imagine how they'll see you in glam makeup and classy lingerie!

How it works:
I offer two types of sessions: Basic Boudoir and Luxury Boudoir. Both session types include the studio, client closet access and in person reveal of edited images on the same day of the session.
Basic Boudoir includes 2 outfits, a one hour session and in person reveal of the session during the same day. the timeline is typically 11am-2:30pm (Session starts at 11am, we take a lunch break at 12, and then you come back to the studio at 2pm for the in person reveal of the images)
Luxury Boudoir includes hair and makeup, 3 outfits, a 90 minute session with the in person reveal. The timeline is typically 9am- 2:30 pm (Session starts at 9am with hair and makeup, photos begin at 11, we take a lunch break at 12, and you come back to the studio at 2pm for the in-person reveal of the images.)
